Creative Leadership

Leadership isn’t about knowing all the answers – it’s about asking the right questions. I show up with curiosity, courage, and consistency. Because creative people need clarity and freedom – and a leader who brings both.

Creative Leadership

Creative leadership is a balancing act. You need to protect the space for imagination – while still getting stuff done. You need to be inspiring – but also incredibly organized.

My leadership style is built on presence and participation. I don’t just steer from the sidelines. I’m in the room, listening deeply, asking better questions, and pushing ideas just far enough to be uncomfortable – in the best way.

I believe leadership isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency. Teams don’t need heroes – they need someone who shows up, stays calm under pressure, and has their back.

It also means being human. Admitting when you’re wrong. Celebrating the team more than yourself. And remembering that creative work is emotional – and that’s okay.

I’ve led juniors and seniors, in-house teams and freelancers, in sprints and marathons. What unites them all? The need to feel ownership, purpose, and pride in their work. And that’s what I try to build, every day.

Food for thought

Leadership today isn’t about hierarchy. It’s about energy: the ability to lift others up, to spark clarity, and to create a space where creativity can thrive.

For On, this could mean investing in leadership development not just for managers, but for every creative contributor. Leadership by example. Leadership through ownership. Leadership through courage.

I would love to pioneer formats like “Creative Camps” – quarterly offsites where diverse talents work on real challenges outside their comfort zones, deepening bonds and stretching skills.

Strong creative leadership doesn’t just guide – it multiplies the creative potential of everyone around.
